Steve is one of the premier transactional and intellectual property attorneys in the emerging technology space. Among other things, Steve drafted the first NFT license (for CryptoKitties), negotiated $200M+ deals with the NBA and NFL (for Dapper Labs), and managed foundational deals in the AI space (for Instabase). Steve has a wide range of experience supporting emerging technology startups of all kinds, and also teaches negotiation at Cornell Law School. When Steve’s not practicing law, he’s an award-winning singer/songwriter in the San Francisco Bay Area.
